Guitar Building

About me

There’s always some music playing in my head, it never goes away. A long time ago, at the tender age of 12, I attended private accordion lessons. I’ve always been drawn to guitars, though. I really wanted to have one, however it wasn’t particularly easy to get one back then. When I finally bought my first acoustic Defil I was over the moon and immediately started learning how to play it.

Back then, I would sometimes go to a luthier and I really liked it there. The atmosphere, the smell of wood that I’ve always been fond of, all of the tools and instruments – there was something about it that never failed to make me feel good.

Nature was kind enough to make me crafty, I have worked on my manual skills in my father’s workshop by creating various (mostly wooden) objects.

Quite a few years went by before I got my very first electric guitar and discovered the world of amplifiers, rack etc. That’s also when I took interest in just how exactly it works. I was lucky to come across a group of people willing to share their wide knowledge in that aspect with me.

This is how my adventure with luthiery has begun. So far, I’m only making electric instruments, however I do plan on expanding and building acoustic guitars once I gather the required tools – and the know-how.

Each guitar is 100% hand-made by me. It’s always an individual design, sometimes based on well-known brands. All of the guitars have something in common though: I give my best while making them, that includes a little bit of my heart, soul, sometimes even blood; but most of all my passion and dedication.
